Life cycle: Hummingbird
Hummingbirds are rather small, therefore their eggs are about the size of jelly beans and peas. When female hummingbirds lay eggs, they will only lay 1 or 2 and will rarely lay more. The mother will sit on their eggs for 18-19 days. After 18-19 days, the baby birds will hatch and be fed with insects and nectar. Three weeks after, the baby hummingbirds will leave and care for themselves. When they become full grown adults, they will most likely spend their life eating insects and feeding themselves with nectar, along with fruit juice.
